style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ricardo Marcel\u00edn Jim\u00e9nez se gradu\u00f3 en 1987 como ingeniero en electr\u00f3nica de la UAM-Iztapalapa. En 1992 obtuvo el grado de maestro en ciencias con especialidad en computaci\u00f3n, por parte del CINVESTAV-IPN. En 2004 obtuvo el doctorado en ciencias (computaci\u00f3n), por parte de la UNAM.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Es profesor-investigador de la UAM-Iztapalapa, en el Departamento de Ing. El\u00e9ctrica (DIE), desde hace 30 a\u00f1os. Fue fundador de los programas de maestr\u00eda y doctorado en Ciencias y Tecnolog\u00edas de la Informaci\u00f3n del DIE, del que tambi\u00e9n ha sido coordinador.
